I can help you to quickly and permanently resolve anger issues and feel back in control of your emotions.
Most of my sessions are conducted via Zoom so you can overcome your issue wherever you are in the world. My office is in Aylesbury, welcoming clients in nearby Amersham, Ruislip, Croxley Green, Watford, Bushey, Rickmansworth, St Albans and Abbots Langley.
Why we REALLY get angry
Anger is a normal, human response. However, when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems. No one likes to feel out of control of their emotions and when you feel very anger you are at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful emotion.
I describe anger as a 'secondary' emotion. People generally feel anger in response to feeling another negative emotion first. Perhaps they feel unloved, hard-done-by, resentful, taken for granted, frustrated or ignored and their way of responding to that feeling is with anger. It is therefore important to understand the thinking and emotion that caused that anger in order to gain insight and start to feel more in control.
Poor self belief can be an underlying contributory factor to anger. The way that we experience our world and the people and events in it is reflective of our views of ourself. If you find that you are frequently getting angry, or excessively angry, the chances are that you are getting your buttons pushed. However, if you felt good about yourself those buttons wouldn't be there to push in the first place! Anger can often be the result of taking things too personally, losing perspective and over-reacting.
