YOUR CHILD CAN LEARN TO Thrive !t
Are you concerned that your child is not as happy as they otherwise could be, and wish there was something you could do to help them? If your child lacks confidence, it can easy for them to create fears and insecurites when faced with challenges in their lives.
They may have social anxiety, and feel harshly judged by others, or feel shy and unable to speak up for themselves. When children lack belief in their ability to cope with situations, this can lead to avoidance of situations, such as socialising or school itself.
The good news is that your child can learn to Thrive and feel significantly better about themselves and their lives in just 6 weeks!
Below are some of the issues that I help children with:
|• Fears & Phobias||• Difficult behaviour|
|• Shyness/lack of confidence||• Worry/Anxiety|
|• Self harm||• School avoidance|
|• Speech problems/stuttering||• Unhappiness|
|• Emotional Trauma||• Obesity|
|• IBS||• Sleeping problems|
|• ADHD||• Eating disorders|
The Thrive Programme for Children & Teens
Teaching children how to thrive is enormously beneficial for their social and mental health. We even have our ‘Bounce’ programme, working in education to help children thrive. Through a series of easy-to-understand concepts, lessons and exercises, the course gives the child (and attending parent) control over their mental health and teaches the skills needed to be happy, positive, confident and resilient, even in the face of adversity. Issues such as depression and anxiety - the two most common children’s mental health challenges - are replaced with confidence, resilience and self-belief.
Your child will learn how to have:
- Good emotional control
- Confidence around others
- Mental resilience to deal with setbacks
- Robust coping skills for life's challenges
- High, stable self esteem
- A positive outlook on life
NO MORE ANXIETY! - Keira t
Keira, 10, did the Thrive Programme for anxiety leading to IBS symptoms. Her first video was taken just after she completed the programme, and the second was was 6 months later...
How old does my child need to be?
Thrive is most effective with children over the age of 10 as they are at an age where they can understand and put into practice what they learn. Having said that, mature and motivated children under 10 can still certainly benefit from attending a session or two (and the remainder of the programme is centred around working with the parent/s).
Please note that all children under the age of sixteen must have a parent or guardian present at their appointment. This will help you to gain the understanding behind your child's thinking and responses, enabling you to help and support them in the best way possible outside of the sessions.
If your child is too young to attend sessions...
...You can teach them to Thrive! Fantastic results have been achieved by working directly with parents, teaching them how to Thrive both themselves and their children. Very often, frustrated parents come to me not knowing how to best respond to their child's moods or behaviour. You will learn to optimise your own parenting styles and decisions to bring out the best in your child. I can teach you the principles of Thrive so that you can understand, help and support your child in the best way possible.
